“Amazing cabin for a weekend getaway! My partner and I enjoyed every bit of this place. It was clean, far enough from other people, and so so homey. There’s plenty of room to sit outside, and the property had absolutely everything we needed. Cooked all weekend and didn’t need to go into town to get anything. An even bigger positive is the communication with the owner! He was so incredibly friendly and kept in touch and was very accommodating. The property was everything we needed for our……

“This home was everything we hoped for during our first stay in Colorado to visit our son. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed to cook family meals, the views were incredible, and the hosts were welcoming and quick to respond.”

“Flew in for the race. Could not have been a better stay from a convenience standpoint. Quiet, clean, well equipped with things like coffee filters (not always the case and so appreciated). The only hiccup was finding the exact cabin. There are 5 separate units- wasn’t sure which one (no reception to check). But our phone call was answered promptly. ”

“Fortunate to spend the 4th in Fairplay and the mountain base camp served perfectly for our getaway. Great location close to our activities and communication with Phil was excellent. ”

“The accommodations were wonderful. Everything was clean and well organized. The kitchen was well stocked as we enjoyed cooking most of our meals at the cabin. Lovely views, as well as being a bit secluded and not having neighbors close by. There was a hiking trail right across from the cabin. We enjoyed morning walks with the dogs, as well as seeking out other trails in the area.”

“Wonderful place to getaway for family. Really neat location for hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, 4 wheeling, hot springs, and relax on the deck. We liked so much that our family rented it for next August. ”

“Our group had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin feels very private and is nestled right in the middle of a beautiful aspen grove. It was a great place to relax in nature over the holiday weekend. We spotted plenty of wildlife: moose, deer, owls, without even needing to leave the house! Would recommend to anyone looking for an escape to nature. ”

“Nice place, had dishes and cups, apartment sized fridge, and stove. Was able to heat up leftovers. Nice channel options, Hot water was nice. Very cozy. ”

“This was perfect. It was quite & away from everything but a short drive to town. We all enjoyed the sledding, snowball fight and just walking around in the snow. We saw a moose and tracks of other wildlife. The house was clean and well stocked. We look forward to making another family vacation here. ”
