"Yes there was a Walmart 10 minutes away and the AC did keep the room cool. Cons-There was no water in the pool and we couldn't find the ice machine,we looked everywhere! "

"This is not a resort. This is just a remodeled motel from the 80s."

"No bath towels were in the room when I checked in. I asked the woman at the front desk to give me one bath towel. Later they later wrongly charged me for 2 towels should not have charged for any as there were no towels for bath in the room I was provided. Such a fraudulent place and rip off never seen before. "

"Had a wonderful stay mid March Views from room were spectacular. Critics: Pool drink service was lacking and slow. Used valet parking on arrival but was invoiced for all nights of the stay. Not sure why. Noticed this when arriving home. "

"The hotel itself was fine. Clean and comfortable beds. However I booked my reservation more than 3 months ago - two rooms. When we checked in they asked for my id and credit card 3 times and then told me our rooms were not together a they couldn’t make changes. We were as far apart as we could have been. Thankfully we were traveling with another couple but had it been my children it would have been unacceptable. The front desk staff were too busy talking to each other to pay attention to what they were doing. We travel about thirty nights a year and we will never stay at a My Place again "

"The receptionist is behind a thick plastic (maybe bullet proof) window, the sink in the room was filfthy, the shower/tub was not clean either. The sheets had black hair in them and smelled unclean. There was a subtle and continuous cat utine odor near the bed. The refrigerator was extremely loud. The deadbolt in the door did not engage. "
