“We stayed in this cozy cottage to "experience" sturgeon spearing season on Lake Poygan & Winnebego. We woke one day to the sounds of chain saws cutting ice and then to ATVs zooming on the ice. The cottage was warm, cozy, cute and comfortable with extras like TP, spices, aluminum foil, and trash bags, all very much appreciated. The owners welcomed us with a tray of coffee, snacks, and 2 wonderful coffee mugs. This was a great place to stay.”

“It was cozy and plenty of space for our family to enjoy Christmas. Was nice to go for a walk with little to no traffic… relaxing to watch the birdies and water. Great kitchen for cooking and enough seating for all of us. We loved it!”

“Everything about this place was great, exactly as described in the listing. No surprises. Very comfortable accommodations. The working fireplace was a bonus. A few little downsides were... no streaming services and the kitchen lacked some basics for families that like to cook including tea kettle and sharp knives (luckily we brought our own). Other than that we highly recommend you stay here.”

“The cabin was perfect for our family. Our 10-year-old and 7-year-old loved sleeping in the loft. Everything was clean, organized, and ready for us. Lots to do including indoor and outdoor activities. We were a little disappointed with the lake water. It was shallow and mucky, but maybe it is better other years. I would say it is more of a fishing/boating lake than a nice swimming lake.”
