“What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway! The property itself was great. Obviously lived in, so you’re in somebody’s actual house rather than a faceless rental. Everything you need is there to cook, clean and sleep soundly. “Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean. It was great having access to all of the facilities of the park hotel next door. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. Overall I felt very safe, only thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk between midnight and 7am, but you will need your key card to get into the building……

“Grei beliggenhet. Kort vei til sentrum. Mange hyggelige spisemuligheter i nærheten. Litt trafikkstøy. Negativt: som ubetjent hotell bør utgangsdøren automatisk låses (var stort sett ulåst). Terrassedør og baderomsdør ikke mulig å låse/lukke. Gulvlaminat gikk fra hverandre.”

La host super gentile e disponibile 👍 Pulizia nella media, qualche asciugamano in più e carta igienica in più sarebbe meglio. Peccato che non c'è un terrazzino negli appartamenti 2-3.. L'interno potrebbe essere mantenuto meglio, la tinta dai muri che si scrostava probabilmente per sale e muffa.. Preparatevi a……

“The room is a bit tired. But everything worked ok. Good shower, a/c etc. The front desk staff were all really friendly and helpful. The best thing about this Hotel is its position. Perfect for getting about Funchal.”

“Nice apartament located on a hill (amazing views from the balcony but steep climb from the city center if walking), conveniently located (close to downtown Funchal and the highway). The host was very helpful, flexible and easy to reach. The only thing I would improve is the cleanliness. Don't get me wrong, in general the apartment was clean but certain places (like balcony or shower shelf) seem to be forgotten. If booking please bear in mind that there are barking dogs next door, but I didn't……

“Das Hotel ist an der Küste gelegen, so dass wir sowohl im Pool, als auch im Atlantik schwimmen konnten. Wir konnten alle Mahlzeiten im Freien genießen, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, abends gab es unterschiedliche Musikvorführungen, was sehr schön war”

“The room was clean, well appointed and very quiet. We were across from the elevator bank and didn’t hear them at all. The location is very good and so was the breakfast. I don’t think I’ve ever had better water pressure in the shower. Our only problem was our room seemed to be in a wifi dead zone. We had good service in the middle of the room but not at either end, including the balcony. The staff did try to rectify it but not much improvement. Would definitely stay again. ”

“Before I came to Madeira, I was a little worried that maybe it would let me down. But when j arrived this island, the Sunshine the sea made me so happy! I like this hotel so much, peaceful and beautiful! from the hotel. You can see the sea! The beautiful view! And five star service! And the bar has performance on Thursday! It's really nice! And you can enjoy your breakfast and lunch near the sea! The design of hotel is perfect and there is also a nog beautiful swimming pool and gym! I like it!”
