“It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely. The area is stunning. “Charming place, was able to provide a travel cot for the baby. Lovely staff and breakfast! We were by on Easter weekend, so it was understandably busy with lots of kids running around the courtyard. Our bed time is very early, so it's not like the noise was unreasonable at first... However after a long journey, jet lag, and teething our baby was waking constantly, extremely cranky and then around 9pm (I think) a kid knocked on our door and ran away while we were getting the baby back down!!!
