“This was our 2nd time here and enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, the breakfast was good and the overall vibe of the hotel is awesome with the waterfall, multiple hot tubs and indoor patio decks. 1st stay we had a parking lot view- room was quiet and clean. Had a cool rocking chair. This last time we had a room with a balcony. It was really nice to have that extra space. The only negative is it’s a little noisy with the water running and you can hear people talking in the hot tubs below……

“Staff were extremely friendly. Rooms & hotel were very clean & quiet. Breakfast was 10/10. I would highly recommend staying here and I will be back next time in Grand Forks. ”

“Rooms were not the cleanest. Definitely not a fresh smell when you walked in. It smelled like BO. For the price we paid, I expected much better. The breakfast was terrible. The weight room was disgusting. Again for the price you paid it just needed to be better.”

“The property seems to be a bit beat up. I remember it as a lot nicer. Staff was just OK. Breakfast was the usual...and I picked Country Inn because I thought their breakfast was a bit better than elsewhere. It is not. No toiletries in the bathroom and the body wash in the installed containers in the shower was empty. So, not that impressed by this stay at all. Mattress was comfortable though.”

“The individual who prepared breakfast was very dedicated and the space was impeccable. I did not appreciate being dumped in a dog room, with our small non shedding dog and being billed twice and more than what was stated on Expedia. This should be an allowed choice for reservations, to add the pet fee.”

“Our room had ripped carpet, wine spilled on the wall and found hair on our bathroom floor. ”

“The room was very outdated and the beds were awful. We went to the bar to grab a drink at 9pm and it was closed. Staff were very friendly. ”

“This hotel is great. We’ve stayed here before and I’d give it a 10/10. It’s under renovation right now and we had no idea when we booked this hotel. Things were upside down in the lobby, the game room was closed, no tea or coffee or hot chocolate that they usually have. Breakfast was terrible as well it was loud with a lot of banging from the Reno’s above us. Also it was to include two drinks which it did not. Hopefully after the Reno’s it will return to being great. However this trip,……

“BED BUGS! Do not stay at this hotel. We found a bed bug crawling on our pillow when we were winding down for the night. We documented it and reported it to staff immediately, got a new room but felt absolutely disgusted. Save yourself and book elsewhere. It was a complete nightmare and when we requested a refund, we were denied. ”

“My room was on the ground floor. With the trees outside the window, the room was not very bright which was not a problem for me as I did not stay in the room during the day. The smell of the room or the towels was not particularly refreshing but still acceptable. ”
