The listing advertised it as a “treehouse oasis,” which appealed to us. While the location was indeed walkable, the overall experience fell far short of expectations.Upon arrival, we discovered a large encampment extremely close to the property — within about 10 feet of the front door. The area showed signs of heavy foot traffic, graffiti, and an overwhelming odor. We also experienced consistent loud noise and shouting that disrupted our stay and made us feel unsafe. This was not mentioned in the listing, which made the discovery particularly unsettling.After contacting the host about our concerns, we were told we could check out early and would be refunded for the unused night as well as our deposit.
