“This was our second stay at this lovely Lodge. Small, cosy, but more than enough room inside. Avril and Michael are great hosts and live next door for any questions you might need. It's a lovely rural location in tipperary and you can't beat the peace and quietness of the countryside here. Taxi drivers are available and Avril will provide you with the details if needed. Already looking forward to when we return again!”

“it was warm in the room and there wasn't enough ventilation to cool it down. So even if it was cool outside, it was warm inside and made sleeping difficult”

“Nice boutique hotel in the heart of Cashel. Underground parking was greatly appreciated as parking on the street is scarce. Morning breakfast had made to order options. Quiet! We would stay here again.”

“Excellent value for money. Good breakfast. Mattress on bed a bit bumpy. No hot water on morning of leaving. But overall a good B&B, just 7 mins drive to city centre. Free parking on property.”

“There is no air conditioning but ceiling fan only, it will be hot during summer months like July and August. The staff in general are very helpful and sincere. The breakfast quality is good. ”

“The Horse and Jockey was a great place to spend a few nights and have day trips around Ireland. It was really hot when we were there and they brought a fan to our room, that was great. The shampoo and body wash smell amazing! The breakfast was great and the servers were so nice each morning. I would definitely stay there again.”

“This was an overall nice hotel. The inside is a little maze like on a long winding path that involved going up stairs then down stairs and such but the room itself was great. Very clean and comfortable. I will say, we didn’t know before hand but apparently Kilkenny is a party town on weekends with lots of large groups going from pub to pub and it was loud outside until 3 or 4 am. Not something the hotel has any control over, obviously, but something to keep in mind if you’ll be staying here over……
