“Our first impression was good, until we noticed all the stains on the carpet in our room. The Lady Byng room. They may have been cleaned, but the stains remained. The breakfast, including the presentation, was lovely. The lounge was lovely with interesting artifacts. Parking was convenient. I went to the office at 10:45 on the morning of our departure to buy some coffee; the office sign said closed from 11-4.”

“Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!”

“Check-in staff was very welcoming and the stay included a gift of chocolates and one of their brews. Complimentary parking and easy access to walking trails is a huge plus. Room is located in a heritage house. Our room was on the main floor and sound does travel from hallways and upper floors, but it did not affect our enjoyment. The bed was quite comfortable and room was clean. It would have been nice to have an electrical outlet in the bathroom, or a mirror in the main room near an outlet. A……
