Much of the grounds and the house itself needs some money spent - like so many rental properties owners are happy to take the money but not to spend it updating their property. Keeping food away helped against being inundated, but they were always around in the kitchen and we saw some everywhere else in the house too. "Was a lovely country stay after 2 weeks of city stays. It was just the break we needed. Place has everything you need and the pool was great. Dispite being on the property with others it was very private. We were especially happy to spend time patting the two calm dogs who spend their days laying in the yard.
