We got the shuttle bus from the airport to Catalunya square and from there it was only a walk down La Ramblas! It's right next to the port and about 10 minutes walk from the beach. The area is a local community so expect siesta time (1-4pm) to happen if you are planning on staying locally most shops are closed.
