“The property was clean, but basic and a little rustic. It was a peaceful country experience with lots of birdsong and frogs sounding in the valley. If you want peace and quiet, this is it. It is a bit off the beaten track south of Caltagirone, a very charming town. We were the only guests in the early season, so Michele and his wife cooked just for us for one night. The food was incredibly fresh and flavourful and really from the farm. That was a wonderful experience. The service was very……

“Beautiful location and stunning building, only ourselves and the owners there on our two night stay. Lovely staff. Friendly owners. Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. Also a ton of ants in and around bathroom. Tissue box full of them. Breakfast which was included was poor. Very old looking tomato and cucumber slices and tbh v little……
