The apartment is requiring some maintenance as the bedroom door handles we off the doors which my partner fixed, the shower wall attachment was broken and the shower shampoo and soap dispenser was broken. The other issue we had was the power ran out during one day and a week later ran out all night which was a problem as my partner has a breathing machine. It appears that the power has to be purchased each week and I would suggest that……

“It was a pleasure staying at Maria's during my visit in Higuey! The location was perfect, and there was tons of security - a plus. The apartment looks just like the photos and comes with everything you will need for your stay (I stayed 6 nights). There was even a washing machine available for usage upstairs, which definitely came in handy. “Leider liegt die FeWo in einem Viertel mit vielen Hunden, Hähnen und der Zuckerrohrfabrik im Osten. Mit Oropax klappt der Schlaf. Carlos stand für jede Frage zur Verfügung und unterstütze wo er konnte. Einkaufsladen direkt um die Ecke. Bei Stromausfall überbrücken Batterien die Zeit des Ausfalles. Bei der Buchung kommen noch Gebühren und eine Kautions-Versicherung zum Tagespreis. Die "kleine" Kautionszahlung wurde anstandslos nach der Abreise zurücküberwiesen. Alles gut.”
