The biggest downside was not knowing that literally the entire plaza shut down for Easter, something we were not aware of at all, despite having already visited two other cities in Norway with everything still open. We would have appreciated for the staff to give travelers a heads up since they have no amenities, additional towels or toiletries, and their FAQs state that guests can purchase what they need at nearby stores - which were all closed. That includes the pharmacies, which was awful because half our travel party got sick with the flu and we had nowhere to get meds despite walking around for a couple hours. When I emailed the staff about the major inconvenience, they essentially told me it's on the guests to know all the major holidays and closures. We stayed for three nights in this condition so it was not an enjoyable experience at all. Unfortunate, really.
