“The listing said there was WiFi but it never worked for us. I reached out to the owner and my concern was not acknowledged. If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views are incredible!”

“Five adults stayed at the cabin to celebrate Easter There is plenty of space to hangout inside and outside. Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and we had plenty of space to hang out. Would definitely stay here again.”

“There has been so much attention to detail with this rental, from the well-stocked kitchen with a smores kit to the bathrobes and slides to wear from the house to the hot tub, to the bounty of cut firewood for the firepit. The beds were comfortable, and the towels were plenty! It rained most of our stay, but we didn't let that dampen our spirits. The outside area with a covered hot tub and projector saved the day. We lost power for a time due to a storm, and the owner was so incredibly……

“Great cabin in an excellent location for a private get away. The listing does not do justice to the luxury of the cabin in the woods. We will be back again.”

“We all had a great time at Sunset Ridge. We were within a 25 min drive of many great activities. We explored caves, did zip lining, river rafting, and ate great food at Route 66 restaurants. Sunset Ridge was centrally located to all those activities and provided a beautiful and relaxing spot to wind down for the day. Sunsets were beautiful, and the property was quiet and peaceful. Great location!!”

“The house was just as described. This was the second time we stayed in one of their homes. The only issue I have, and this prevented me from 5 stars, was we arrived a little after the check in time, and the owners (I am assuming), were there outside and before check out time, they drove by (this was a dead end street). This made us a bit nervous and irritated.”

The owners were so helpful and we really enjoyed visiting with them when they stopped by to milk their cow. The weather wasn’t ideal but it did not interfere with the experience. “Our family loves riverside locations and the Hazel and Oliver cabins did not disappoint. The lovingly restored cabins on the bank of the Meramac were well furnished and ready for a relaxing stay. The beds were amazing, which is always a good thing! We enjoying the well stocked supply of games and our kids aged 2-9 loved the kids toys and playing around the property! We tried our hand a fishing but had no luck this early in the season. The solo stove was a lovely bonus as we enjoyed several……

“The pictures really don’t do it justice, because how do you capture the feeling of being fully relaxed? The view of the lake from the two-story living room windows has an incredibly calming effect. The cabin was incredibly clean and I was especially impressed with the coziness of the mattress and bed linens. Thick, plush towels in the bathrooms are a luxurious touch. Owner was very sweet and quick to communicate. Excited to stay at this property again but I’m certain it will be a tough booking……

“Host was very helpful as we had to change the dates of stay due to a work conflict. Location was exactly what we were looking for and even though there were other cabins on the property it still seemed very secluded!”

“Although it was rainy, it was still just as peaceful and beautiful. I could live just on that porch and in the great room. We stayed here and took our son to STL to go to work with my brother, after he graduated High School on Saturday. Quick turn around. All in all it was another great stay!”
