“Walking in we were greeted by the sweetest lady named PAT - She helped us get in our room early so we could go see our children perform at LSSU! Not only this but when the kids were done performing they opened the conference room for the kids to be able to eat a late late dinner together! Thank for you hosting our children and Us!”

“Perfect location for downtown shopping, dining, and the locks. Staff was great. Enjoyed the sauna and loved the free laundry machines.”

“Older property but everything is much better than other similar properties I stayed in for the price we paid. I will definitely stay there again if I travel that area again 🙏👍”

“Room was clean. Pool needed resurfaced which was planned otherwise clean. The door to get into the pool is a pain at best. You’ll need a tutorial. The staff member however was uptight and less than helpful.”

“The window in my room had blinds built into the glass, but none of them worked and there were no other blinds to compensate. The first night I was there the light over the bathroom sink did not work, though it was fixed the next night and nothing was said. The coffee for the breakfast bar/lobby was absolutely the worst. I don't think it was really coffee. The second day the coffee urn put out hot slightly brown water. I didn't even try to taste it. Food items would run out and no one……

“Comfortable room”

“Check in was quick. Got the king hot tub room. Lots of pillows which was great. Tub worked but took a couple tries to get enough hot water to run it. Hotel very run down looking on inside… exterior doors were never locked at night.”

“Rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and knowledge about the area. It was a great quiet home base for Soo Lock tours, Picture Rocks tour, Mackinac Island, and Kitch-iti-kipi. The lodge is on beautiful Trout Lake.”

“Was not as advertised. Not sure where the advertised pictures were taken. Most of the “suite” was clean. The bed was not. We had to go find clean sheets and change the bed. Only coffee was decaf. Not even enough toilet tissue for a night. I’m confused on the overall high rating.”
