“Our room was on 2nd floor. Their stairs were well worn, I was leary of the boards breaking, they didnt but the deck boards had a wide gap which didnt help my fear of heights. There were no hangers, no hair dryer, no coffee pot. The towels were horrible and we had to request clean ones each day. We were in a no smoking room but when we can in our rooms smelled of smoke sucked in by the AC I suppose. The beds were hard but it was clean sheets and spread.”

“My room overlooked the mighty Ohio River. I am from Maysville and I used to go to sleep to the sound of the trains going through. Last night one of the longest trains I've ever seen came through and because the tracks are right beside the hotel the whole building rumbled. Loved it. Really nice room, clean as can be, updated with white comforter and good mattress. When I opened the blinds at dawn, there was a huge riverboat pulled up under my window, called the American Melody. It's not a brand……

“This place was horrible the customer service was horrible I had reservations and took my payment out already. But they said they didn’t have them and it wasn’t there problem. There pool is out and they advertised it’s working and looks so nice. The facts are it is not and shows a sign saying closed until further notice. And it’s nasty and green and building is in disarray and needs major attention. I would recommend you running from this location and the Seaman OH location as well”

“This was a very nice place to stay. Very convenient to downtown Maysville. I thought it was very comfortable and the breakfast was first rate! There are downstairs (first floor) rooms, but mine was on the top floor and no elevator. So please note if you have mobility issues. I parked on the street so I don’t know what other options are available. Lovely place and historic property.”
