“Very comfortable, friendly staff, right next to the falls and close to Betswy-coed”

“Hotel name is not visible from the street. Parking on site was appreciated. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was 'open' but the cook was not there. After a while they reached her by phone and she would be there in 15 minutes, and was told to take our orders and I paid for two 'specials'. After arrival, the cook/owner(?) came out and chatted with several locals and then brought her dog out to visit with a guests dog. Later she came out with a hairnet on making me optimistic. We……

“The breakfast was a joke. At the bottom of the staircase on a table there were a few packet croissant, some boxes of cereal, some bananas and apples. The adjacent mini fridge had milk and orange juice. Bedroom nice but the thin flimsy curtains are no good - the bedroom is bathed in the early morning light and I found it difficult to sleep after sunrise”

“We stayed here one night as a last minute getaway from the heat back home . The property was spotless and everything was so thoughtful , so many personal touches showing the care they take with their guests . They went above and beyond when I had an issue with my car charging and drove me all the way to it, which would have cost £50 in a taxi. My children loved the animals on site and the owners were very patient answering all their questions ! Thank you so much for your kindness !”

“Excellent place in Holyhead. It is a little hard to get a taxi and all the bus stops were closed when we were there due to road work. Transportation was our only challenge and the host was super helpful arranging that for us.”

“The room we were allocated was very dated and tired. The mattress was old, sagging and not comfortable. The bathroom was equally poor with black mould on the paintwork, loose loo roll holder, insufficient loo paper for two guests over two nights and not restocked! The drench shower was right over the bath tap controls and not thermostatically controlled. My wife nearly got scalded trying to adjust the over bath shower. No warning that the hot water was extremely hot (as an experienced plumbing……

“The hot tub trailer that we had was beautiful. We had an amazing dinner in the restaurant after our arrival.We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening, the rain hitting the metal roof was so relaxing. The bed was incredibly comfortable.The experience start to finish was wonderful and we will definitely come back for a longer duration next time.”
