Mountain home with some of the best views in Chaffee county! Surrounded by private land makes this a great place to bring your ATV's and other toys. This getaway is very spacious including a fully stocked kitchen, 2 TV's, Wi-Fi internet, garage, 4 bedrooms, one is also a game room of sorts. Huge back deck with grill and outdoor patio table over looking view of Arkansas Valley and Collegiate Peak Mountains....BREATHTAKING! It is conveniently located to ALL of the valley's activities from Leadville, Mt. Princeton to Salida yet tucked away from neighbors! Be sure to bring binoculars to watch the wildlife.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs are allowed for $25.00 night per dog and a $25.00 additional cleaning fee. $350 damage deposit which is promptly refunded if house is left in proper condition.
Stay 6 nights and you will get the 7th night free..

Weekend Away

I had a great stay for a weekend. The home was very clean and comfortable. Private location but still close to town and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. The views out back were absolutely incredible! Will definitely stay again when traveling to that area.

This place is very beautiful and clean with the most amazing view of the mountains! 🤩

We came for a girls weekend and it was so much fun! This place is very beautiful with an amazing view of the collegiate peak mountains very close to the Cotten Wood Hot Springs. We would love to stay here again one day!

This house is so nice, comfortable and clean. We always enjoy staying there. We come to ride the ATV trails in the area and having use of the 2-car garage is a plus. Great rental!

This property made our trip to Buena Vista even more amazing!

The house was clean and well kept, what really set it apart was its amazing view, I had my niece and nephew with me ages 5 and 9, and they really enjoyed the vista of the wildlife and the location of the property. I would gladly stay here again!

Buena Vista House

Off the beaten path. Nice place with lots of room for all of us. Plenty of parking to park pickup and trailers. I would stay here again if in the area.

Weekend Ski Trip

We really enjoyed the roomy layout and separated bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped with all kitchen essentials. We love the view we had at sunset and were lucky to enjoy the full moon..

Good location with great views

We came to town for a spring break getaway and found this property to meet all of our needs and some. The views off the back porch/deck are amazing; panoramic views of the Collegiate Peaks. The house was easy to get to and from while we adventures in Salida and BV. Will recommend for for any of your travels!

Good view and nice location

This house has great views and it is very close to buena vista downtown. The floor plan is great and it can easily fit a big family like us. However if you are sensitive to the noise. You can still hear the traffic at night with windows open.

Nice home & Beautiful Views

We were there for the Colorado Highschool mountain bike race. Everyone slept well in their own beds. There were a few dirty dishes that had been put away but it was not a problem. The deck was wonderful to sit on and look at the mountains.

jaw-dropping views

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was comfortable and clean, but not so fancy we couldn't be comfortable relaxing here with kids. We really enjoyed exploring the country roads around the house and had some great walks and scrambles on the nearby rock formations. The views from the front porch of the collegiates are outstanding. Seeing the moon fall behind them early in the morning was a highlight. The owner was very responsive before and during the stay. Great spot and we hope to come back!

ATV ride Taylor Resevoir

Excellent location with great views of mountains and valley. house was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for the five of us.. Beds were also comfortable. I had read a review that mentioned road noise, but was hardly noticeable on outside and not at all inside house.. Owner was easy to communicate with and thoughtful as checked with us after a couple of days to see if we needed anything. Would certainly stay again if in the area Marvin

Perfect accomodations and service

We loved how private the property was. My family took a small hike out the front door to explore and loved the scenery and views. The house was well kept, clean, had everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to every question I had and she went out of her way to mail an item I left behind. Top notch service and she was very concerned that we had a nice time. I'm happy to say that we had a great time staying at her house!

Amazing Place!

We had a full week booked at this house. Host was super responsive and helpful. This was our first Vrbo booking and this house was perfect! Right off the highway but far enough traffic noise never bother us any, but close enough to be in downtown Buena Vista in 4 minutes. You can sit on the back deck and relax with an amazing view! Highly recommend this house. House was perfect for our family of 5 with 2 Corgis. Perfect that everyone had room and the house was nice and clean. I could go on and on. If I could give more stars I would. If you are looking for a place out of town that’s quiet and you can relax but close to all amenities that Buena Vista has to offer this is for you

Buena Vista Getaway

Overall, we enjoyed our trip immensely. The view of the deer in the field below the house was a wonderful way to start each day. My grandson went jogging and came face to face with a moose. We saw a coyote and a fox run by. Each evening we played family board games on the large dining room table. The kitchen is roomy and we’ll stocked. We watched college football and New Year’s Eve shows all tucked into the comfy sectional. A few concerns, but nothing to keep us from recommending the property. There’s mice droppings in the kitchen drawers, and we caught one while we were there. Three of the windows don’t properly close, therefore do not lock. One of the queen beds is Rocco hard.
