Having a great pub restaurant minutes from the house was very handy, and of course there is so much to do in the Drumnadrochit area. The host was on hand, yet unobtrusive. Very helpful. “This property is great inside; very comfortable, well appointed, etc. The street/alley on which it is located is not picturesque, but the nearby streets along the river are. My biggest complaints are: 1) we were given “street” vs. “place” as the address, which messed up our navigation and had us walking in circles after dark with our bags, when we were already under a time crunch to get to a New Year’s Eve event, and the May Court signage is above eye level and not seen after dark - accurate……

“Very clean and comfortable house, walking distance to the pub two doors down, and an Esso/small grocery 5 minutes the other direction. The only two suggestions I have for the owners are to clearly state that bedrooms are upstairs and that there is no parking on the property itself (we used the canal parking lot down the street a bit). ”

“We had a lovely stay at Veronica's cottage- Oak Cottage. It was much bigger than we anticipated, spacious and light and airy. A lovely surprise! Very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Veronica left fresh eggs, milk and biscuits which were much appreciated. This cottage genuinely has everything you could ever need and more. A large freezer and undercounter fridge. “Walking distance to town center, pubs, public transit and more. Clean home with plenty of space, nice beds, fully stocked kitchen and living room. Plenty of heat and space. “This property is within walking distance of downtown Inverness it is close to stores and restaurants. Gregor is a tour guide and is very familiar with the Highlands. We went on several private tours with him and never saw a tour bus at the locations he took us.”

“For the price, you are paying for the amazing loch views, and quiet serenity. Staff was very nice and helpful, food was great. However the owners need to update the rooms at this price point. I don’t mind experiencing the old charm of Scotland but not if it’s 1985 charm. Bathroom needs updating, even a curved shower curtain would go a long way. Wooden Floors are extremely creaky. Very hard to be quiet. Especially if you come in past midnight when all the doors are locked shut. Overall a great……

“We had problems with the air conditioning and they couldn’t fix it for a couple of days, we had to move to another room later in the evening the next day and then the next room had a leaky shower, the bar and restaurant staff were exceptional, everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was really good, parking was close but not included.
