“we were travelling to Ireland to bring my brother’s ashes back to bury him, I spoke to the owner of this house on the day of travelling only to be told they do not advertise their property with Hotels.com we were left stranded and having to sort out accommodation last minute, the owner tried to help us as Bunclody is a very small town and not plentiful of accommodation. We ended up finding somewhere which was not ideal as it was room only instead of a whole house with cooking……

“This place is absolutely magical! The property is enchanting, the hostess fascinating and the breakfast out of this world! The shepherd’s huts are so charming, I guess you could call it “glamping”? The one thing I would say is that my knees aren’t great and I found the steps to the huts a little tricky, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, but other than that it’s a 10 out of 10! I wish I could have stayed longer.”

“Wilton Castle was an amazing stay, from the first step through the front door you felt like royalty. The suite was immaculate, with all the comforts of home. Well equipped kitchen was an added bonus. The view from the massive windows overlooking the farmland was breathtaking. A must stay on anyone’s Ireland adventure. Hosts were attentive, friendly and gave great travel advice. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends and family touring Ireland.”

"Overall experience was nice that the surroundings and leisure club are pretty good. The thing we didn't expect is that there are some stairs going down to the room that we need to carry the luggage ourselves, which is not notified when booking. Also the air smells moldy in the corridor downstairs. But the room itself is tidy and clean."
