“Birthday celebration for niece. Family oriented vacation spot but very long to get there from San Jose airport. The breakfast was delicious with vegan options such as fresh fruits, veggies and rice & beans. Internet was good however our TV never worked. The Calypsos night was fantastic.”

“The breakfast is so good, take advantage of it. Bottle Water is expensive all over the area so I understand not getting constant free water. Take the water pitcher from your room down to the restaurant or bar and they will fill it for you with filtered water.”

“Beautiful paradise, a quiet sanctuary. We loved our stay. Unique. Marise and Pierre, the owners, were kind and made us feel quite at home. Pierre gave us tours around the property and nearby beach, showing us sloths, iguanas, birds, and other animals. The room, pool, and property were clean, well-kept, and comfortable. The Cahuita community and vibe was calm and laid back, restaurants were great. Thank you for the time and care you showed us, I have tears in my eyes as write this!”

“The Good: Breakfast was great and included. The staff was great and helpful. Very beautiful & quiet property The Bad: Only a glass wall on the shower so water got all over the floor everytime we showered. Super small trashcans and I say this because it rained alot so they had breakfast brought to the room but nowhere to throw the containers away and they don't come back to get the waste. We had to walk through the lobby to access the trash at the front. Please replace the rugs placed……

“Rating this a 5 based on other hotels in the downtown area of Puerto Viejo do not compare to the location, amenities, free made to order breakfast, laundry service for a fee, bar, very clean and very helpful staff. The beds were comfortable and room spotless. We would stay here again.”

“The hotel is on the beach, open your patio door and you have a view of the ocean beyond the garden. The sound of the waves lull you sleep. The hotel is surrounded by gorgeous tropical flora, coconuts & palms. It’s also close to all amenities. Several upscale restaurants, artisan bakeries & shops as well as delicious street vendors. I extended my stay because there’s so much more to do here than I initially anticipated. The hotel staff are helpful & accommodating 10/10”

“Sehr guter Standard der Apartments. Überall Klimaanlage. Ruhig, aber nicht weit weg von Restaurants und Lebensmittelgeschäften. Wenn man am Pool sitzt, kann man Affen auf den umliegenden Bäumen sehen und auch hören. Es war ein wirklich sehr schöner Aufenthalt dort. Man kann sich sofort wohlfühlen ”

“Buena vista al mar para desayunar muy lindo. Muy tranquilo para descansar, desayuno 9/10, a 20 min de puerto viejo, está a la par de Cahuita. Piscina increíble, cuarto lindisimo y limpio. Debes manejarte si o si en carro.”
