“The hotel is nice, no check in before 4 pm. They also have a fridge in the room but you cannot put anything in it. It is for purchasing drinks and snacks only. If you remove anything, even if you put it back you are charged.”

“Beautiful hotel! So glad we picked this over other options in the area without question. The rooms were great, easy parking, awesome atmosphere, great bar, restaurant, speak easy. Coffee shop next door. Nice to walk on main street and walked to the Royal Gorge train as well. If you are looking for a place to stay in Canon City, I would highly recommend! (I don't usually write reviews but it was a great stay!)”

“It was an okay stay. Older, but maintained. The staff was more than kind and helpful.”

“Room was dirty, dead bugs in the corner of the bathroom. Room floors needed to be swept and mopped. Had to ask staff to come sweep and mop. Even after they said they did the dead bugs were still in the corner. Bathtub was gross and dirty. No extra toilet paper, one washcloth for two people. Microwave door was broken. Definitely not worth the price. I’ve stayed in places for less with way better service and way cleaner.”

“The room was very clean.The hotel was nice and clean as well. The front desk staff was nice when we got there. The front desk staff when we left talked to people like everyone was bugging her. The fridge was not working and even after reporting this is was not fixed. The TV was not working either it took 2 times telling staff it was not working for them to (fix) it. Channels kept going in and out. We finally just gave up on the TV.”

“Nice sized rooms and we enjoyed coming in after our night out and finding a popcorn machine that provided a great evening snack. The other rooms do seem to be occupied by people living there with food, clothes and possibly garbage sitting outside some rooms. We didn’t expect that but I guess it is an extended stay hotel. Room was fairly clean and simple so if you’re expecting frills don’t stay here.”

“We truly enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable and clean, with terrific vintage furnishings, appliances (especially interesting in the kitchen!), and decor, it has fun little surprises in every room. More a full apartment than just a hotel room, this unit truly is a charming "time capsule" dedicated to the golden age of travel and 50s/60s nostalgia.
