“nice view but the room is not clean”

“The view and the pool are amazing! The breakfast is great! The house itself is a bit old and outdated, but the pool and the view on the Douro Valley compensates.”

“This hotel is located right on the Douro, in a picturesque spot. There's a parking area right outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel claims to be four star; it may have been once but it no longer is. The rooms are spartan. A 20" tv from the 2000s. No amenities whatsoever in the bathroom, which had a broken wall shower and between one and three lights randomly working, depending on I know what. I had to move furniture to find the only single wall outlet close to the bed.……

“Beautiful property, well maintained and peaceful grounds to relax in. Excellent breakfast, items were fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that there was a slight musty odor and no hair dryer in the room. Otherwise I would definitely stay here again.”
