“Good place for pitstop on a road trip”

“Receptionist very rude. Only had one bath towel for two people. Asked for more towels twice. Also asked for an ice bucket. Never received either one. Room was filthy. AC vents were filthy. Stains on coverlet. Toilet wax stained. We didn’t attempt the breakfast. We wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.”

“We decided not to stay. I had to take the grands to a cleaner hotel with a working TV and no smell.”

“Ac unit was hard to control. Hot water took time to surface. Bed was very comfortable.”

“Needed a little get-away not too far from home. This little cottage is perfect in so many ways. It's in a quiet, private neighborhood. Parking is convenient with circular drive. Don't skip the history of the area and home in the welcome notebook. We fell in love with the Crab Orchard Stone on the house. Ended up going to a stone yard and getting some scrap pieces for our garden at home! The cabin has everything you need for a couple of days. Very comfy common area with big TV, nice views out the……
