"This was an amazing stay. If you love the wild and aren't afraid of potentially sharing your room with critters at night, definitely stay here. However, they are not using Vrbo and were not aware that we had made a reservation as a volunteer worker had set up this listing. Go to their website treevanacr.com if you want to get in contact with them and book your stay. They were so accommodating even though we took them by surprise. Thanky you both so much!"

"The host was friendly and gracious. The house is a bit better than the photos. If you have problems climbing stairs though, that will be an issue because they're a bit steep, but for location you can't beat this place! It's literally 100 feet from the beach, and you can hear the waves from the bedroom. There's no better location anywhere."

"La Finca Azul is a really nice place to stay. We only stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. It's surrounded by beautiful nature, with a river nearby. The food was good, and the owner's daughters were really sweet to our two-year-old. If you want a peaceful getaway with nature and friendly people, this is a great place to go."

"Best hotel of our Costa Rica trip yet. What a special place! The physical space is beautiful. The wildlife on the property and the gardens and general space were exceptional. Loved seeing toucans and monkeys right by our room. Loved walking to the ocean and river and town so easily. Wonderful boat tours of the national park with Steven. He blew us away with his knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area. Great responsiveness to emails and any questions or concerns. Also wonderful night tour with Humberto!"
