"Overall was a good weekend. The views were stunning and property itself is great. There were a few challenges - 1 there was dead mouse in the middle of one of the guest bedrooms upon check in. This indicated to us that the house hadn’t been cleaned recently. 2 - the WiFi didn’t work at all on our first day. 3 - there is a guest house on the property that was also rented to other tenants. "The place was cozy and warm. We loved the view and the easy access to downtown Carmel Valley, the beach and Garland Park. The kitchen was small but mighty. Who wants to cook a lot when on vacation? It was plenty for our needs. The balcony was lovely overlooking the owners very peaceful and zen garden. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and comforting. I loved the little table and stool in the kitchen overlooking the hills and the garden. I am a writer and would love to come back and spend a week writing and finding peace in this crazy world we live in. "
