“The home was okay. The carpets were filthy. I would recommend putting laminate as it is much more sanitary. The living area was okay as it didn’t have carpet. The hot water heater was small so we had to space out showers but still had cold water. The beds were okay. Said they were queen but seemed smaller. The TV was hung up on someone else’s account and we couldn’t watch TV so we watched on our lap top.”

“This rental has it all. Located in the woods close enough to Kings Beach to enjoy the all the amenities, but away from the traffic and crowds. Comfortable and beautifully appointed unit, with spa, pool and excellent hiking trails. We were here for the 4th of July and hiked the nearby trail to the beach to watch the fireworks. Wonderful!”

“What went well: Closer to Kings Beach, surrounded by trees, ample car parking space, nice pool, and clubhouse. The kitchen was good. What needs improvement: The property is not up to the mark for the price paid. I have stayed in other places that were even better for 3/4 of the price I paid here. Very congested studio room. 1 bunk bed, and it was suffocating. The couch in the living room was not comfortable at all; it kept moving and caused discomfort. When I entered the house, it was too cold,……

“Got 1 bedroom with kitchen. Unit is decently clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Not a lot of people in the area, because it’s after summer and not ski season. We enjoyed that too! There’s Safeway about 12 mins away to get essentials. Great location to see Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake and Tahoe City.”

“Everything was perfect with the exception of our location. Room was on second floor in the corner with no view. Better to request ground floor or at least a room with a view from which use of the balcony would be more comfortable. The location is great backing up to open forestland and trail to Shirley Canyon. The living room is quite convenient and the grounds were very pleasantt”
