“Cute remodeled hotel with great parking right next to the Boardwalk. Nice cold A/C, comfortable bed. Very clean room and bathroom. Small but cozy for a couple. We made a quick three day trip for July 4th weekend. Convenient to the beach, restaurants, shops and day trip to Wilmington. We will stay here again!”

“Our room was clean and inviting. I liked that you didn't need to keep up with a key card. It was convenient to use the key pad. We enjoyed our location..close to restaurants,shops and the beach”

“Great place all around will be back soon we stayed on the older side of the property and was still very nice and clean could use little more work but definitely a nice spot on the beach! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They could really work on the elevator it was super slow and almost the hottest thing at the entire beach it felt like I was going to pass out in there it was so hot”

“So the staff was great at check-in. Room was ok the bed was absolutely the worst ever. So hard like sleeping on a rock. If it wasn’t a holiday would found another property. They offered blanks and pillows but that would not help the mattress. Biggest complaint was I am a rewards member and ask for late check out night before. Was told I had to call back in the morning. So I did at 8:30 was told no more left cut off was 7am. Was very upset. What’s the point of late check out if you have to call……

“The property was very nice. Great ocean view. Spacious. Didn't like the stairs.”

“Overall our stay was good. The rental company was very responsive and helpful. They were also able to let us check in a little early. They were very organized and clear on instructions. The condo is very old, the view you see in the one picture is from a tiny side porch that faces the street/another condo. The view from the front porch is staring directly at another condo that blocks the view of the ocean. The condo smelled musty when we walked in. Everything was clean except for the bathrooms……

“The location was great, easy access to Carolina, Kure & Wrightville beaches. Near a mall, Walmart and several grocery stores, as well as a movie theater. The staff was very professional, friendly and inviting. This was our first time visiting and we'll surely be returning and staying at this location. The breakfast was quite delicious and a large variety.”

“Great place. The staff, location and family atmosphere makes Captains Cove the perfect location for an old fashioned family beach vacation. After 15 years of visiting it feels like staying with friends and not just a hotel. I’ll be back soon!”
