“This was exactly what we needed after a week of camping on our road trip - this place is so lovely, from the cabin itself (inside and out), to the big trees surrounding it, the pathway through the forest, the delicious breakfast and coffee, and of course the most relaxing bath/shower outside. Tara was so welcoming and was helpful highlighting spots around the island. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon! ”

“We had such a lovely stay here. It was very tranquil peaceful and the hosts were just spectacular. All the little details that these guys add make such a big difference and let me tell you that breakfast that they make, is absolutely delicious. We took our infant, who is only nine months old and our puppy, and they made a little puppy plate and a little plate for our boy. We had such a lovely day and created some fantastic memories and hope to be back. We cannot thank these hosts enough. ”

“LF Guesthouse had everything that we needed to make our stay in Nanaimo memorable. The house was sparkling clean. We loved the location as it was a 12 min walk to Long Lake where we explored one evening. The backyard was very spacious but we spent most of our time there inside. We used the laundry as we had been travelling for a week and half when we arrived. It worked great. Lou was so easy to deal with and she is one of those thoughtful hosts that makes a stay so enjoyable. We prepared meals……

“Such an incredible little property. The view is incredible and the pictures on the listing don't do it justice, it's definitely a million dollar view. Doug and Jan were great hosts and included so many extra amenities and thoughtful touches like snacks and drinks which was so sweet. Hot tub was fabulous and while it's a drive to town, it's worth it for a one of a kind stay. ”

“What a delightful and calming stay! Inn the Estuary is absolutely gorgeous, with so much wildlife and excellent views right outside your patio. Harold was such a kind and attentive host, and even offered to fill our tire for us when he noticed it was flat! Clean, quiet, and so close to anywhere you’d want to explore! 10/10 experience!”

“On arrival the suite is very inviting as you make the turn to the right viewing the panorama of the lake through the trees, the cute well-appointed separate sauna and the lovely outdoor space with very comfortable sofa, chairs and dining table.
