“The villa itself is stunning, lovely pool area and grounds and staff really great, friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to. “I travelled to Palazzo Tucci with my family of 4, which includes 2 preteen children. We really enjoyed our large room and the beautiful eating area which had original frescoes from the 1700s. The villa is located very conveniently to the city center of Luca. There were not many other travelers. I believe they’re only four or six other rooms so we felt like we had the place to ourselves.
