“Great place to stay, but I wish I’d known the “kitchenette” wasn’t set up to prepare food at all, as I would have brought what I needed from home. There was a full-sized fridge and microwave, as well as dishes and utensils as advertised, but only the coffee mugs were microwave safe (the rest of the dishes were plastic - not the kind that even claims to be microwave safe), and there weren’t any cooking implements. “Great one night stay while traveling. Old and quaint, well taken care of. You can see they take pride and maintaining the property. I suggest sleeping with earplugs anywhere along this corridor, as there is a lot of train traffic. “I am extremely unhappy about our stay at this property. When I booked the room The information provided indicated the following items for the room. "As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many issues overall. The only real highlight was the swimming pool, which our child absolutely loved"
