"Lovely hotel in an old country mansion. Beautiful grounds. Very helpful staff able to assist in booking tours. Quiet location 15 min walk into town and slightly closer to train station. Our room was small, but nice. Comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant was really delicious. "

"Location is excellent. The room we had was new but very basic. There was no wardrobe, no shelves, no hangers - no place for your luggage at all. No cleaning or changing of towls during the stay. Very expensive for what it was. It turned out at the end of the stay that they apparently did not give us the room we paid for - and we were compensated some for that. "I can’t say enough positives about this property! We stayed in the La Chambre de Marie Janelle. The room had everything you could need: robes, slippers, hairdryer, tea kettle, great AC, soap, even wash clothes. Our room was beautiful and very quiet. Getting to the property can be challenging but well worth the effort. I will say this property is NOT for those with any kind of mobility issues. There is no elevator and our room was on third floor. "Jardin Haute Couture is very special. Coco is a wonderful host, and my husband and felt like guests in a beautiful country home. The decor is eclectic and fanciful, the bed was comfy, and the views are so pretty. The food is delicious. I hesitate to say too much for fear there won’t be a place for me!! "
