"Right on the beach."

"Room was very clean. Shower did not have hot water after having maintenance come up to check it out. A little outdated but the room was clean and that’s what matters to me when I’m traveling. The front desk staff was very kind."

"Outstanding place to stay! The personnel were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Very quick check-in. The rooms were clean with no problems what so ever. Nice and peaceful. the pool and hot tub area are indoors, nice on rainy days. A must stay."

"Bathroom in room smelled like a porta potty and the room had a foul odor. Desk receptionist talked on personal call in speaker phone the whole check in process and said 5 words to me during check in."

"The property has everything you need and is easy to navigate. Rooms were very clean and Shawn at the desk was very kind. Parking is simple and the breakfast is a huge plus. The indoor pool area is a little worn and it is clear that the ceiling has been repaired and is due for more. It was cold when I was there but the outdoor pool area looks nice with a pool and mini lazy river. It is also just a few steps to access the beach. Overall I would stay here again. Very short drive to restaurants and shopping in the local area. "

"Upon arrival this property had several deficiencies. Cleanliness and Maintenance ConcernsThe wine cooler/ice maker in the dining area was dirty. There was also an odor in the kitchen that we later determined was coming from leftover food in both sink garbage disposals.The kitchen utensils, pots, and pans were extremely worn and, in some cases, appeared close to unusable. Several windows throughout the property were dirty or damaged, which obstructed the views from multiple rear-facing rooms. This was particularly disappointing because the views were one of the primary reasons we selected this property.There was also a large stain on the carpet in the mid-level living room area.Safety and Security ConcernsThe front entrance lights did not work, and the exterior lights on the deck outside the pool room area were also inoperable. Several exterior light fixtures were broken or missing bulbs.The deck-access stairs from the first rear-facing king bedroom on the mid-level were broken. Had we not noticed this, it could have created a trip-and-fall hazard for our family. We had to instruct family members not to use those stairs.The mid-level deck also had loose deck boards, loose railing, and dirty deck furniture.On the bottom level, the exit doors to the outside could not be locked, and the bunk room window lock was broken. These issues created significant security concerns."

"Absolutely fabulous from top to bottom. Myself and several brothers stayed a few days here for a bachelor’s getaway and had an unforgettable experience. This is an amazing home that is clean, wonderfully furnished and an extremely considerate and responsive host. I really appreciated the host staying in contact from before the rental date and through it till the end. The host felt like an old friend! The location is ideal for a comfortable getaway adventure for several people. It’s like a home away from but in paradise. Great access to the beach, two fully equipped kitchens that made cooking a breeze and plenty of room to relax after a long day of fishing or hiking. If you are visiting Corolla beach this is the home to stay in. I know my friends and I will certainly return every time we visit the Outer Banks!"
