“Room is spacious and clean in general. AC super loud and dusty. Phone very dusty too. Poor sound proof. You can hear doors closing heavily on your floor, people talking in their rooms and even dogs barking in a room. ”

“The Tru is an excellent location if you need to be near the Albany Airport. They offer a shuttle (just arrange ahead or call when you get there) and a good breakfast (great coffee!). The lobby and breakfast area are clean, modern and inviting. Our room was spotless and very quiet. All the employees are friendly and helpful.”

“The staff here has always been very kind and friendly! Great hotel to get away and relax. The only "knock" I would say is the breakfast. It barely qualifies as continental, and more options should be made available. I love the laundry option too!”

“Very terrible experience. Booked this hotel as I had an important interview downtown in Albany. When I arrived there at 9pm, it’s overbooked and we were relocated to a motel 20 mins away. The motel was terrible and the hair dryer was even broken. The staff was rude when we tried to understand the situation. The staff on duty promised to cover the extra transportation costs from the motel to the bus terminal for the next day and arranged a taxi for us. But we were kicked out of the taxi as the……

“The room was fine. Our only issue was the handicap accessibility. The room layout and bathroom were not great for wheelchair accessibility. No bars at the toilet area. I would not have paid the extra charge for the larger room had I known it was not truly handicap accessible.”
