“I’ve stayed many times in past years and you can see the decline from when it first opened. I was in a two bedroom suite. Holes in the wall, fridge was dented, no real amenities to speak of. Waited 30 mins to check in because there was nobody at the front desk. When they did show up no apology and barely acknowledged me.”

“I had a pleasant stay at Wilbur Mansion. The staff was very welcoming, and the service was professional. The overall environment was excellent. However, there were a couple of drawbacks: the door didn’t have a locking function from the inside, and there were no disposable slippers provided. As for dinner, the taste was fairly standard, but the pork chop was exceptionally well-grilled and seared to perfection. I highly recommend giving it a try!”

“Parking lot very clean with ample parking spaces. Property is very old and run down. Hallway carpeting smells musty and of old cigarettes. Good size bathroom, very clean. Appropriate toiletries provided. Bathroom towels very thin and low quality. Beds and pillows very lumpy. Breakfast layout is pathetic. On a positive note, staff members from all shifts were extremely pleasant. Per front desk staff, hotel does not have an elevator, so we stayed on the first floor. Owners need to invest more in……

“It only depends on the level of expectation. All I needed was a bed and a shower and a sink and it was adequate for that. If you want something posh, you don’t go to a motel six.”
