“Don’t be fooled by the pictures. This property is very dated! It is not a lodge. It is a motel right off the highway. The inside of the kitchenette was upgraded and clean. There is no management on site. I had to call to get the code to check in. That may have been VRBO’s fault. There was a wedding party staying at the motel. My one night stay was not the peaceful experience I had hoped to have. Loud gatherings until late, kids running around unattended, doors slamming, people trying to……

“The access to the front door was walking from the road, that was uphill from the cabin, down a big boulder..no steps to get down to the cabin. it had a futon that looked 30 yrs worn, no padding in the cushion. the steps up to the beds were extremely steep and dangerous.. no back boards on the steps, like walking a steep ladder. we can do steps... but this was ridiculous. tried to request a different cabin, They were so low staffed, that only one person was assigned cleaning all the……
