This room was perfect for 2 of us, the view definitely made it all worth the trip.

We loved the view and easy access to the beach, really quiet at night and very relaxing time.

Great and relaxing but……

The parking was not very organized with construction, we had to try to park across the street and traffic was horrific to get across the street. The bathrooms didn’t have any soap, 2 burners on the stove didn't work and the chairs on the balcony look like they’re going to break if you sit down. The room was still cozy and perfect for my husband and I.

Vacasa is terrible. This is not the rental I stayed in. My first rental was in Sundestin. It was dirty, the building was under construction, there were holes in the wall in the unit and the pool was closed. No one from Vacasa got back in touch with me despite my reaching out several times. I ended up rental an entirely new place in Watersedge and it was great. Cost me a fortune because I paid for the dump Vacasa put me in;

Cute place!

Great location and beautiful views! Suggestions would be to have salt and pepper packets or shakers and a single serve coffee pot for kcups, since there are no coffee or filters provided and coffee is expensive downstairs. Air freshners for musty smell. Enjoyed our stay very much and place was very clean. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great view and good location to everything. On site restaurant and bar was great which is a division on fudpuckers. On site convenience store with great coffee is a major plus! Beach was great and friendly. However with that being said the room needs a major update and carpet removal to help with odors. The kitchen counter was updated so that was nice. We did enjoy the view though. Vacasa was very easy to rent through and had great communication

The place is in need of maintenance and upkeep; hole in bathroom wall where a towel bar used to be, missing light bulb in a lamp, cupboard stand for TV in bedroom was not attached to the wall and about to fall over plus could feel air coming in all around it and the bathtub drain does not work well. However, it was fine for a short stay for the two of us and had a great view of the water.

This unit was dirty & smelt like urine. You could feel the springs in the mattress, the refrigerator seal is covered in black mold/mildew. 3 out of the 5 outlets in the dining/living room did not work, ALL outlets in this unit are loose & wiggle. The patio door blinds were missing multiple pieces. The furniture is broken down & stained. The box that was built in the corner of the bedroom has become detached leaving holes and cracks..

Great View and that is all...

Trip Stay 7/2/2023-7/9/2023. We opened the door to this condo and the odor took our breath away. It was a funky smell that probably is from the really old carpet in the living room. Being the humble travelers that we are we pushed through. We checked out the view from the balcony, and it is truly an amazing view. After looking at the emerald green water started unpacking our belongings. While unpacking my wife and I both noticed that we were starting to sweat. We went to the thermostat to check and it was set at 62, but the temperature was reading 79-uh oh. We looked in the closet and found a blower fan that you would use to try out carpet (imagine that). We plugged that in and started contemplating a call to the front desk. We decided to give the condo a chance. We went down to the beach to check things out and were happy with everything that the resort had to offer. After checking out the resort we headed off to Wal Mart for air freshener and a box fan. We arrived back from Wal Mart with a box fan, candles, some air freshener, and some other essentials. We opened the door and bam the smell knocked us down again. The temp was 77 which was the lowest it would get for our entire 7 night stay. The box fan and blower fan were going our entire stay. There were other issues: cleanliness, carpet in disrepair near the kitchen, patio furniture that needs to be replaced, WiFi does not work in the bedroom, I could go on and on. Worst condo EVER!!!!

Sundestin Beach Condo 807

Not our best stay. This condo was not what we expected. A shutter like thing was leaning against the wall in the hall. Thank god it didn't fall on my gran-daughter. I contacted someone about the package with dish washing stuff, laundry, and such was supposed to have hand soap, shampoo and lotion but didn't. We wanted to wash our hands. It wasn't a good exchange. Never got any of that. Went to WalMart to get necessities. The furniture looks like thrift store rejects(couch, chairs and ottoman). Curtains in main area had multiple slats missing. Carpet looks nasty. We will not be back to this unit. The most positive thing I can say is the view was beautiful.

Disappointed

We arrived sunday, June 15th, for our honeymoon week. The property appears to be under extensive renovations with construction vehicles and trailers in the parking lot (limiting parking spots) and two of four elevators being used for building materials. Our unit was nice and clean but throughout the course of the week, we uncovered several issues. The electric lock on the front door jammed frequently and we would have to re-enter the passcode 2x or more before we could enter. The headboard of the bed was not fully attached to the frame and would bang against the wall at the slightest movement. The sliding back door was extremely heavy and difficult to open. In addition, the track for the door sticks up enough that we tripped going onto the balcony more than once. The blinds at the Glassdoor were inoperable and remained open our entire stay. The toilet directly off the bedroom ran consistently and we eventually turned the water off at the wall and made do with only one toilet. Several electrical plugs were loose or otherwise not working. While the kitchen was well-stocked, the front left stove eye was rusted through at the connector and could not be used, nor were there any potholders for removing hot items from the oven. The biggest inconvenience was the fact that toilet paper and laundry facilities were not included other than two rolls of toilet paper at the start of the week. When we requested fresh linens, the front desk advised that our unit was not their responsibility.

Awful, keep looking

Entire building was under construction. There was a note in the listing, however I was not at all expecting it to be as bad as it was. No access to the beach view balcony attached to our unit. No access to the outdoor amenities (hot tub, pool, splash pad), then indoor hot tub was also not open and the indoor pool was closed for a little while too. The outdoor seating on the beach was not kept up with by the building. It was covered in sand. Now to the actual unit… because the construction will end.. the unit just sucks. Great location. That’s it. The carpet is gross feeling and had sharp things in it by the dinner table. My guest and I both stepped on something super sharp and had to make sure we wore our shoes inside the rest of the stay. The bed is a spring mattress and so uncomfortable. Four small pillows on a large king sized bed, and just sheets on the bed. The shower had hair in it from the previous guest. The AC needs to be updated majorly. It is so loud, and sounds like you’re going to take off to the moon in the middle of the night. When I found out about the construction having all of the amenities closed at once, I tried reaching out to the owners to see if I could get a refund or moved to another location and they were not understanding at all. Do not rent from VaCasa at all! Worst property management company ever.

The condo is TERRIBLE. It’s run-down. It’s dirty. The recliner that was one of the main reasons I rented this place is missing. The carpets feel grimy. There is a shower liner with no curtain. The fixtures are gross and rusting. Half the lamps don’t work. The boys had no bedding (thank goodness for Mimi’s blankets!) or pillows (thank goodness we had extra). Our bedding is a thin blanket and is not warm. Our bed feels like a pull-out sofa like the boys are in. A number of the slats are missing on the sliding door blind so I had to rig it so the sun wouldn’t rise in the boys’ faces. There was something brown and gross on one of the toilet seats that we didn’t notice until AFTER our immunocompromised child touched it. The main entrance is blocked off for construction so we had to back into the front to unload. The pool is closed for construction. It’s just all so disappointing. We paid $2,800 for this trip - and we ended up leaving this morning (instead of Tuesday) because we just couldn’t take the awful condo anymore. I hope we get at least a partial refund. Extremely disappointed.
