“A beautiful old home, efficiently run, with easy parking and access. Room was quiet, comfy bed and every convenience.”

“Auf den ersten Blick wenig Raum. Dieser ist aber durchdacht eingerichtet und somit für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gut geeignet. Was fehlt ist Stauraum fürs Gepäck. Das muss im Auto bleiben.”

“Goed gelegen hotel met grote parking. Voldoende grote kamers met airco. Goede bedden. Uitgebreid ontbijt, waarbij het enige dat ontbreekt kaas en vleesbeleg is. Personeel heeft speciaal chocomelk voor de kinderen gemaakt. Diner is ook van voldoende kwaliteit voor een ketenhotel. Enige nadeel zijn de vele meeuwen op de parking en hun uitwerpselen op je auto. Vlug afwassen is de boodschap voor dat die de verf aantasten.”

“Dinner was good, breakfast was very good. Bathroom very spacious with excellent shower. Unfortunately there were no shelves for any toiletries. Staff were very attentive and friendly. My only criticism is that we paid for a superior room, but it didn’t feel or look superior. It was on the ground floor with two windows facing Main Street, so the blinds were closed to avoid people looking in. For a standard room that would have been ok, but not for a superior room. She actively provided advice on the choice of restaurants in the area and helped us book a table for dinner at Northern Sands. Jane and Richard are nice guys with their lovely cat, Lona. “Wir hatten einen Pod mit Whirpool gebucht. Alles war sauber und ordentlich, der Whirpool war auch direkt einsatzbereit und auch sauber. Es gibt auch einen Saunapod, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben, ich denke aber, dass er grundsätzlich allen Gästen zu Verfügung steht. Eine kleine Küche ist vorhanden.”

“We enjoyed our overnight stay at The Bridge guest house. It was full of character and quirky. The location was excellent for anyone travelling the NC500 route. Nice little village. We had double room with lovely kingsize bed and ensuit. Came with usual facilities like tea/coffee, wi-fi. Parking was on road outside or across the road in parking area. The lounge area had a lovely roaring fire with ample seating to relax on. Breakfast was a help yourselves and very nice.”
