Top Dunbeath Hotel Reviews
Pentland
"I have to agree with many of the reviews that Pentland Hotel is dated and in need of a full refurbishment. BUT... we arrived super late, and the person behind the desk couldn't have been kinder. I know the night staff was waiting for us to arrive, and couldn't close up until we got there. Then, our car died the next day, and we never felt any pressure to move our car or get our luggage out of the building; our suitcases were kept behind the desk for us while we walked around town, waiting for the mechanic to arrive. Breakfast staff had to accommodate 2 tour buses, but I was given a great table, and there was plenty of coffee and tea! And the wait staff took their time to check in on me, despite being so very very busy."
Forss House Hotel
"The hotel was wonderful and the breakfast absolutely delicious! Very spacious room!"
Premier Inn Thurso
"A basic premier inn."
Broadhaven Road
"Very good well-equipped ensuite room. Very clean and very quiet. Highly recommended."
Manor House
"I’ve never been greeted better than this! A clean, well kept lovely local place to get to when You’ve been travelling. Quiet, enjoyed opening the windows to hear the birds. The food is top notch, in a local atmosphere (unlike chain places to stay) everyone who works there is more than accommodating, helpful and friendly. As a female solo traveller, highly recommend. Easily located walking distance from train station. Easily walking distance to attractions. Accommodated me to get to ferry. I would go again if I ever get back there."
Bannockburn Inn
"Nice place the food in the bar restaurant was great I had a steak with garlic bread to start steak was perfect and the drinks were to my liking"
Mackays Hotel Wick
"Wonderful historic hotel!"
The Bridge Guest House
"We chose the Bridge Hotel as a stopover on our way to the ferry at Scrabster. The hotel is in a lovely period building just opposite the old bridge/river. We were greeted by a roaring real fire in the characterful entrance/lounge. It has a grand feel with lots of interesting cabinets /curios and prints on the walls. Our 2nd floor room was spacious with good views to the hillside. The was plenty of choice in the breakfast room next morning. A perfect stopover..."
North Coast 500 Pods
"The pod we stayed in was excellent, very well thought out and everything we needed was available, we were on a road trip from wiltshire, and the location was a perfect stop off before our last leg to John O'Groats, there is also an excellent beach nearby."
