“Friendly welcome. Characterful room with good quality tea tray. Great breakfast. Unfortunately the room was not overly clean and the bathroom in particular was tired, run down and felt grubby. Black and dirty sealant around the outside of shower. Broken tiles on floor, broken loo roll holder, grubby and badly marked walls and thick dust/grime on skirting. With a deep clean and a little maintenance this could be a great place to stay.”

“Excellent rural location. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting the lovely Gatwick Aviation. ”

“Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for.”

“Beautiful property, bed was comfortable, shower was lovely However, stain on the carpet, hair grips on the floor - wouldn't deter me from staying again (just need cleaners to pay more attention 😉)”
