"Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family. - no fly...

Our apartment overlooked the lagoon so it was beautiful to step right on the sand during low tide and borrow a kayak or snorkel from the resort during high tide. We had a wonderful stay. "If you're concerned about needing to ferry to and from the island constantly - don't be. The ride takes about 2mins and the boat operates constantly. The longest you'll ever wait is 5 minutes. We stayed in a waterview fare though not over the water but still excellent. Island has pools on either side as with the bars and restaurants. This means even at peak time (after Christmas) it never feels full of people. The snorkelling was surprisingly excellent, heaps of fish including clown fish despite there not being a reef. "
