This home is located within minutes to the entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway for the gorgeous scenery of the mountains, as well as minutes to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. Come home to rest at this quiet respite for your relaxation after a day of exploring the mountains. The kitchen is equipped for preparing family meals while others relax in the hot tub with views of the mountains. It is truly a home that the owners want to share the beauty of the mountains. You won't be disappointed. This home comfortably sleeps 7 people in beds and a futon where two more can sleep. Step inside Hilltop Splendor and marvel at the meticulous craftsmanship that defines this charming Craftsman-style residence. From the inviting front porch to the rustic elegance of the entryway, this home provides ample space and comfort for gatherings of any size. Bathed in natural light, every corner radiates a warm, homely atmosphere, offering picturesque views that epitomize the splendor of this locale. Take advantage of the community amenities nearby, including pavilions, grills, fire pits, and green spaces, all within easy reach. The main level features a fully equipped kitchen with modern finishes, seamlessly connected to a spacious dining area that comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. In the living room, unwind by the fireplace while enjoying state-of-the-art entertainment on the large-screen system. A master suite with an en-suite bathroom awaits on this floor, complete with desk space and high-speed internet access for business travelers. Upstairs, retreat to a cozy TV/gaming room or relax on the futon sofa/bed. Sleeping arrangements include additional master suites and bedrooms, complemented by a full bathroom and laundry facilities for added convenience. Dogs are welcome with approval and a non refundable fee of $150\. (2 dogs maximum, no cats please) Guidelines are required to ensure their comfort and cleanliness. Approval of pets is required with approval of pet policy and fee. For larger groups, adjacent homes are available for rental upon inquiry. Additional features of Hilltop Splendor include a new deck with a gas grill, as well as a hot tub for relaxation. With accommodations for up to 10-12 guests, including two master bedrooms, a queen-sized bed, bunk beds, and various entertainment options, this home caters to diverse needs and preferences. To ensure a seamless stay, essential supplies such as toiletries, linens, and kitchen amenities are provided, with replenishment available at nearby stores. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER AND BODY SOAP. As a courtesy to all guests, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited on the premises, with penalties enforced to maintain the integrity of the property. We had two families and everyone had bedrooms that felt comfortable. There is a full bath on the top floor plus an on suite in the top floor master. The first floor master also has an on suite bath and there is a powder bath on the first floor. The kitchen is large and has all the dishes, pots, pans, blender, toaster, etc you need. The screened in porch is a fantastic place to sit and watch the sunrise with your coffee or unwind in the evening. The drive to downtown was about 20 minutes and the highway easily accessible. The grocery store was just 5 minutes down the road. The property was well appointed and maintained. The only unfortunate part of our trip was the weather became cold and rainy so we couldn’t fully enjoy the deck area. Downtown and Biltmore were both just short drives away. Some of the routes via GPS back to the house routed us through shortcuts which may have saved a minute or two but took you on winding dark roads. Be sure to check the routes to stay on the major roads if commuting at night if smaller roads are intimidating for you at night. We had one and only one small issue with the master BR shower head that was immediately resolved while we were shopping in town. The management was completely pleasant and responsive to fix it quickly. There is a neat little coffee shop at the bottom of the hill that made for an easy 2 min walk to get a cup and a pastry.
