“Quaint and beautiful historic hotel! Right in downtown Placerville. We loved strolling from the hotel to all the cute shops and antique stores along the row. Hotel itself was clean, well managed with friendly staff. Shower was hot with great pressure! We loved the antique look of the rooms. Bonus: if you like ghosts and spooky stories, this hotel is great! We loved watching the Portals to Hell episode about the hotel… in the hotel! Overall, fantastic experience. “Mokelumne Hill is an awasome little town and the Hotel Ledger is a cool place to be cause there are so many fun things(wineries, hiking, live bands and its family friendly. The pool area is a nice place to hang out. The staff is amazing and the renovation was amazing”

“Worst breakfast ever! Limited options and limited amount for guests. Only ate breakfast there the first day. Booked this hotel to save $ on a meal and proximity to Sky Park. I also asked if a 1st floor room was available because my husband has a handicap. The front desk told me they were booked out but the parking lot was empty. I think you didn’t want to bother with the effort to change the accommodation. I forgot to request ADU when I booked the room.”
