“Walked in and lobby looked and smelled like a 1979 bowling alley. I was exhausted and had a long day so I grab the keys to the room. The hallway to the room and the room itself still had a musty cigarette smell, so went straight back to front desk. Booked through Expedia so hotel couldn’t give me a refund. When I called Expedia they said the hotel refused to give me a refund initially and then after 2 hours on the phone they refunded only 1 of the 2 days. Ernie is a poor example of hotel……

“Our room smelled like weed. The room keys frequently stopped working and needed to be replaced. It was very inconvenient. I asked to be placed close to the elevator but we were probably the third room away from the end of the hallway.”

“I got there and my room only had one bed in it. I had to wait two hours for my room to be ready on Saturday. I got back to my room and my bed and desk were covered in ants. The manager suggested that I brought the answer in getting me another room. I would never stay here again.”

“Room was dirty. The pool was cloudy like it hasn’t been cleaned. I had to wait each time I needed to talk to someone at the desk.”

“This was such a great hotel! Had an awesome restaurant/bar with pool table and shuffleboard. We were able to hang out with our teenage kids and play games. Awesome outdoor area for my husband to enjoy a cigar. Great hot tub and pool area. Staff was so helpful and very nice! Just a chill awesome environment. Will definitely return to stay again.”

“The cottage was a very clean, cozy, well-decorated, and warm place with a comfy bed!. A great home away from home stay for the Christmas season. We LOVED our stay and would definitely stay there again!”

“This is a very charming and lovely inn that represents and feels like you are going back in time. The front staff are very helpful and super sweet. I love the welcome home baked chocolate chip cookie as you check in. The location is very convenient to downtown.”

“Stayed 14 nights. First morning there was a guy across the street with a jackhammer going off at 6am. Next night kids at hotel were setting off fireworks at 11p. 2 days later the fire alarm went off at 8am, had to evacuate the room. Most nights there were lots of kids running thru the hotel. You could hear their room’s door slam shut. Often. Morning #13 the fire alarm went off again. Had to evacuate again. Breakfast was very mediocre at best.”
