The property is beautiful! The entire insides of the house were burned at one point after his family sold the property. It was rebuilt inside when someone purchased it but once it was turned into a historical landmark, renovations began to take it back to it original interior. They are following the original plans that Thomas Jefferson created with the help of actual letters that were written to Jefferson’s head contractor at the time the house was being built. It’s going to be beautiful! Sad it’s not the original interior. But has a very interesting story! It $13/pp to tour but worth it!

"My husband and I travel frequently to the SML area, for business and vacation. Hotels are located quite a distance from the lake and we wanted something quiet and peaceful with a water view. The condo was exactly what we needed - room to relax, a full kitchen for preparing breakfasts and enjoying carryout meals. We were there a short time and weren't interested in cooking full meals, but could have :) We loved the patio and screened porch, bed was comfy, bathrooms were spacious, and...
