“It’s not every night you get to stay in a castle that is 100s of years old, we were treated like a King and Queen. The young waiter from South Africa was great to talk too. Thank you for the hospitality :)”

“It is a beauty but still under development which I'm sure will soon have the Grandure it strives for. The restauration and annex buildings are being completed with a good eye for quality and detail. We really enjoyed our stay, the outdoor pool area and the terras restaurant. Obviously there were computers hick-ups and small mistakes with only being partially open since a few weeks but we look forward to return towards the winter whe all should be ready and the staff complete and trained.”

“Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Service war ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer befand sich direkt unter dem Dach und hatte nur ein Fenster. Dadurch wurde es besonders nachts unerträglich heiß. Leider gab es weder einen Ventilator noch eine Klimaanlage. Außerdem ließ sich das Rollo am Fenster nicht vollständig herunterziehen, sodass das Licht von der Straße die ganze Nacht ins Zimmer schien. Das war der einzige Kritikpunkt. Wegen der großen Hitze……

“A lovely place in a very quiet and beautiful setting. The staff/owners were very friendly and welcoming. The trout cooked on the bbq was excellent. Great place for a stopover away from everything.”
