"It is a very good choice for a basic 1-2 night stay in the area near Gmunden. The room was modern, clean, comfortable. Breakfast at the outside restaurant 2 minutes from the hotel was very good. This is a hotel without a front desk. When we had a problem with our room, we called the emergency phone number at 10PM. The lady that answered was extremely nice and helpful and gave us a new room in 5 minutes. The tech-based automated check-in procedure was BAD. We booked through hotels.com, immediately got a message from the hotel saying we will get check-in instructions 3 days before our stay. No check-in instructions arrived. I tried the check-in section on their website -- it did not function. I called them on the phone -- the person was very nice, said they have a problem with one of the tech providers but, no worry, there are check-in terminals at the hotel. We arrive at the hotel, tried the first check-in terminal and we get a message that the system does not recognize our reservation. We were about to call them on the phone when my partner suggested to try the second check-in terminal and this one worked smoothly. In summary, it is a nice hotel with good value for money, but, if you rely to technology to replace humans, the technology BETTER WORK otherwise it is a poor customer experience."

Room was well designed, but a small fridge would have been appreciated given the wonderful weather. No air-conditioning in rooms, which would normally be fine, but it was warm to sleep in the heatwave."

"Great hotel. We stayed in Fuschl to easily access the Salzkammergut area. The hotel has great amenities such as an arcade. It even has a piano you could play. Staff was friendly and helpful. Note Fuschl does not really have a lot of restaurants and the convenient store barely opens - so it simply wasn't a base for lunch/dinner for us. The hotel has dinner but we did not try. Also note there is no A/C. The night air was cool but we had to sleep with the balcony door open. Parking was confusing initially - there is a parking garage but it is not accessible on the day of arrival. We had to back out through a narrow alley."
