“What an adorable little cabin. Clean and well stocked. The water was shallow off the dock but we were able to use the paddle boards and kayaks provided to paddle out into the deeper water and do some fishing. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. This cabin is highly rated for a reason. Would definately recommend.”

“This was our first time stay here and it was a great experience. We had 12 adults there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We also had 4 boats and it was a little tight at the docks, but we were able to make it work. Very nice area. The water was a little rough at the docks over the weekend with all the boats going by. It did settle down during the week. You can tell they have been working on the house to improve it. ”

“Our stay at the JEMH Cottage was everything we wanted it to be. Our one daughter and son-in-law were with us and their three daughters ages 17, 8, 6 and our younger daughter and son-in-law and their 1year old daughter. They all said they had the “the best time ever. Everyone had comfortable beds to sleep in, even the 1 year old had a pack-n-play available for her. The cottage was very clean inside. “My wife and I had a great stay for our anniversary weekend! Beautiful private island with lots of yard space for the dog to run around! The cottage has everything you need and lots of seating both indoors and out. We especially loved the access to the boathouse keeping our boat protected from the elements! A short trip to the Ivy Restaurant gave us a break from cooking responsibilities for a night and provided a beautiful view looking back toward the island. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait...

“Many reviews substantiate that Bedford Lake House is a 5 star property. Check-in, Facilities, Wi-fi, all first class. For our three-generation family of 7 including two young girls of 5 and 7 what made our stay so special. First, the view from the cottage over Devil Lake, the sunsets were amazing. Second, the flower and vegetable garden - where are young girls filled their buckets every day with ripe tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, peppers, beans, herbs, strawberries, beets .. the list goes on....

“Where to begin? We spent this Labour Day long weekend at Carol’s cottage and it was absolutely amazing. The cottage is exactly what we expected and more! We arrived Friday night, and took full advantage of the sun porch, the fairy lights were a nice touch and we were excited for next day! “Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. ”

“Exactly as advertised. This cabin and property is beautiful. Everything was immaculately clean and organized. The cottage was well-stocked with appliances, dishes, cutlery, cookware, towels, blankets, and games. They even had a water cooler! Everything we could possibly need was taken care of. We had an incredible time paddling on Cronk lake and fishing off the dock. I can't say enough good things about this beautiful cottage. We are so grateful and hope to get the opportunity to stay here...

“A slice of paradise! The whole experience exceeded expectations. The property is deep in the bush with a few friendly neighbours. The hosts were inviting, caring and overall great people. It was extremely hot outdoors in the sun but the shade from the trees, roofed back deck over looking the lake, two gazebos and enjoying the lake kept us comfortable and the multi-zone heat pump with indoor units in each room kept us cool inside.
