“Offered refund not via Expedia account but asked to provide my card details which is illegal. Refund was for broken shower which prevented to have it. No dishwashing liquid despite sponge and cooking facilities provided. Dirty mug, which obviously was there for a while. No hairdryer. This was my mistake to book here! Do not recommend”

“Apartment Nr. 17
Aus dem Badezimmer strömte durchgehend ein unangenehmer Geruch und die Fugen in der Dusche waren schimmelig. Beides ist meines Erachtens auf die fehlende bzw. defekte Abluft im Bad zurückzuführen.
Auch im Rest des Apartments fand sich - vor allem in den Ecken - viel Schmutz und immer wieder allerlei Haare. Das Überbett und der Matratzenbezug waren sauber, aber darunter fanden sich ebenfalls viele Haare und Schmutz. Ich habe mich den gesamten Aufenthalt über nicht wirklich wohl……

“We were a family of 3 and stayed in the bigger apartment. It was a wonderful, everything was brand new and clean, the pull out couch was made up for the night for my son, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, but yet very centrally located area in Riga. There are a few very good restaurants just around the corners from the aparthotel, better than the famed Milda Restaurant ( don’t waste your time going there). Overall, I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Carillon.”
