“Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. Xuanantunich was so close, we opted to drive via our rental and hired a private guide for $50 on-site. We did tubing on-site which was a flat 30-minute walk about……

“Our stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The place is very cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature — exactly what we were looking for. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and a special thanks goes to Cesar, who truly went above and beyond. We had unexpected difficulties at the Guatemala–Belize border and arrived very late, around 10:30 pm, but Cesar was still there waiting for us with a smile and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. We loved the activities they offer, such as the zip lining only a 10 min walk from our room. Be sure to stay for breakfast and order the Stuffed Fry Jacks, they were the best we had in Belize! Our room was perfect for our large family and included three separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The roads……

Plus, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the market / downtown but removed enough to be quiet) and there's a large grocery store directly across the street if you want snacks / sunscreen etc. I would certainly stay at Midas Belize again.”
